Our Custom Home Building Process
1. MEET WITH JOHN MARION CUSTOM HOMES, LLC
The process of building your custom home begins when you meet with John Marion and/or your project manager. Together, we will discuss your needs, wants and budget parameters. We will help turn your dream into a reality.
2. SELECT YOUR LOT
We will build your home on your lot or ours. Whether you choose to build in one of the area’s outstanding neighborhoods or on acreage, we can help you choose the perfect lot. With an emphasis on real estate, John Marion Custom Homes, LLC has the knowledge and expertise in assisting and acquiring the lot ideal for your family.
3. DEVELOP A PLAN
Planning your new home should be a FUN experience. Idea boards created online with sites like Houzz and Pinterest are a great way to stay organized. They also make it easy to collaborate with your spouse/family and share with your designer. If you prefer a more hands-on approach, things like hand drawn sketches and magazine clippings are still a great option to help facilitate the process of creating your own custom floor plan design.
4. IDENTIFY INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR FINISHES
With the design complete, your next step is to meet with the decorating professionals. However, if you have your own ideas, we can follow your personal direction.
5. FORMULATE AND ESTIMATE
The estimate will be completed based on your plan, interior selections, and exterior choices. We will provide a detailed estimate before construction begins.
5. CONSTRUCTION PHASE
The construction phase will vary depending on the size and complexity of the project. John Marion Custom Homes, LLC will build your home using acceptable standards while controlling the costs associated with your project. We will include you in each step of the process while providing you with updates throughout the project.
6. YOUR NEW HOME
Once complete, your home will be awaiting. We take great pride in our craftsmanship and hope that you will love your new home. Remember, even after you move in…..we are still there, standing behind our work.
